【Overview】
・This exhibition is entitled " Dalam Bingkai - Intangible Cultural
Heritage Indonesia UNESCO.
"The theme of photography exhibition within spectacular cultural heritage
of Indonesia.
"Dalam Bingkai" translate into Japanese, it means "In
the Flame ", the works exhibited at the venue record the diverse cultural
spaces created by the people of Indonesia, including majestic Indonesian
landscapes, dance, festivals, rituals and traditional crafts.
・Currently in Japan, it is famous of Batik (batik dyed), Wayang Kulit (traditional
shadow play), and Balinese dance, on the other hand, it is not known, the
West Java culture, Angklung (bamboo instrument), Saman dancing which is
Aceh culture, and two traditional mastered sail boats called Pinage are
the shipbuilding techniques transmitted to the Bugis-Makassar nation of
South Sulawesi.
These are also UNESCO intangible cultural heritage of IndonesiaAnd this
exhibition includes traditional cultures of ethnic groups that have been
heritage from parents to children, including Papua's faith and customs
that are not registered in UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, as well
as the present Indonesian educational schools.
・The multi-ethnic nation Indonesia is an island state consisting of approximately
1.89 million square kilometers (approximately five times the national land
of Japan), and approximately 14,000 large and small islands, with a population
exceeding 250 million people. With an ethnic group of over 350 people,
each region still has a unique ethnic culture. It is needless to say that
this exhibition is a cultural heritage valued by the people of the multi-ethnic
nation, Indonesia, and it will be handed over to the younger generation
who will build up the next generation.
"Dalam Bingkai" - Indonesia · UNESCO Intangible Cultural
Heritage Exhibition started at ISBI bandung in Indonesia from the exhibition
at National Gallery Indonesia, UGSI in Malaysia.
"Dalam Bingkai - ICH Indonesia UNESCO" Special Exhibition
in Japan will be held in April 2019 at ASEAN Center Hall in Japan.
